Take Aim Search, specializes in Pay Per Click (PPC) lead
generation for small and midsize business-to-business companies.
The company was founded by John Grant in 2001, after recognizing
a (largely unmet) need among small and midsize companies for
an approach which would bring them a more consistent stream
of higher quality, better targeted, leads.
John has 30 years of hands-on, lead generation experience,
including senior positions in sales management, business development
and strategic planning for a range of small and midsize US
manufacturers. He spent four years as president of Mekentrol,
a manufacturer of industrial controls.
He is a frequent contributor to leading industry publications,
including MarketingNewz, WebProNews, Small Business Reports
and Newstrack Executive Tape Service. He is also the publisher
of On Target, a free monthly newsletter on lead generation,
now in its fourth year. John hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering
and an MBA, both from the University of New Hampshire.
Outside Take Aim Search, John is an avid bicycle rider,
averaging 2 - 3,000 miles per year on the road. He has ridden
in the Pan Mass Challenge since 2000 and participated in (survived)
the annual Mt. Washington Road Race. His current fascination
is learning to ride a unicycle, a diversion which to this
point has only rewarded him with bumps and bruises. John lives
in central Massachusetts with his wife Jo.
